What are sola wood flowers?

So, what are sola wood flowers? Sola flowers are made from the thin wood shavings of tapioca plants; both the inner white part and also with the darker skin/bark. They are also referred to as shola flowers, balsa flowers, tapioca flowers, or just plain wood flowers. Because they are made from plants and by hand, no two are EVER alike, and small "imperfections", such as tears, holes, and/or brown skin spots are possible on every single flower. The flowers are delicate and will have broken petals, just as real flowers would. However, no flowers will look like they were mangled by the neighbor's dog.
